The Day I Got Scared Of My Own Shadow

The day when everybody called me mad.

The day when everybody behaved like lad.

The day when everybody called it fame.

But,

I was irritate of my own name.

Mad means Success

They said, I listened.

Success means Enemies.

They said, I got scared.

My own success was burden for me

Everybody behaved like I was infinite.

Nobody could reach to my success

As I was some novel’s fictional princess.

My success was only limited in fiction

Enemity was generating ’cause of success’s friction.

The day when everybody called me rich

But I was like a ball being played in pitch.

They said me everything

I just listened.

My success also succeeded

They got pissened.

The day when everybody called me mad.

The day when everybody behaved like lad.

The day where my bungalow was a kilometer far filled with meadow.

But,

That was the day I got scared of my own shadow.
